I have a profound love for animals, traveling, family, and for helping those around me. When I am not working, you will find me wine tasting, trying out a new restaurant, or exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my wife and golden retriever, Ellie. I love learning about new cultures, talking to people, and developing relationships.

I was born and raised in France, where I was exposed to multicultural environments. After exploring medical school, I found my path in clinical psychology. Following two years studying general psychology at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne, I moved to Washington State in 2007. I continued this field of study until graduating with a Master's Degree in Psychoanalytic Counseling from Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis in 2013.

I am particularly passionate about talk therapy, as I believe it is the best way to help people reach the source of their concerns, eventually leading to a more permanent adjustment to their behavior and thought patterns. It also allows a more progressive and deeper understanding of oneself, which in turn provides new skills to take on the various challenges life throws our way.

Therapeutic Beliefs

when considering therapeutic beliefs, there are 3 main areas of focus to allow for better understanding of our selves; cognitive, behavioral & emotional. i believe the way we function can be seen as a constant interplay between what feelings come to us, what thoughts are brought up, and what behaviors we choose to express. we are all imperfect beings and there is no such thing as a flawless childhood; therefore, the balance between those three human dimensions is by default uneven. I believe that aligning them is the key to feeling complete, fulfilled, and at peace.

Therapy Focus

The one element that tends to be the most challenging, the most underestimated, and the least understood is our emotional state. Understanding our emotional self naturally leads to a deeper understanding of our cognitive and behavioral tendencies. Through talk therapy, such understanding can be reached.

Our psychological identity is progressively built by genetic predispositions, childhood experiences, family education, social exposure, jobs, hobbies, etc. time and trust are critical to achieve a deeper grasp of who we are. this goal can be met by Simply talking, letting thoughts and feelings guide the flow of the session, without judgement or consequences.
